| It is located in the pacific coast, the province of Puntarenas. It is located to 157 km to the south of San jOse by highway and 7 km to the south of the city of Quepos. | Main Plants |
| The National Park Manuel Antonio it protects patches of primary forest, secondary forest, to manglar, marine beach vegetation and atmospheres. The more characteristic species of flora within the primary forest are guácimo Colorado, the pylon, the cedar Maria, guapinol, the sura, guapinol black (logable tree in extinction danger); the papaya, madroño, cenízaro and ceiba. Manglar that it covers approximately 18 hectares, is constituted by three species: mangle Colorado, botoncillo and mariquita. | Main Animals |
| 109 species of mammals are distinguished between which we found the raccoon, pizote, guatusa, sluggish of two fingers and the one of three fingers, the monkey carablanca, the Congo monkey and the tití monkey, that is in extinction danger, due to the destruction of its habitat and its use like mascot. There are 184 of birds like tucancillo, the pelican or buchón, the guaco, the fishing sparrowhawk, martín green fisherman and the gallito of water. | The National Park Manuel Antonio it is a small biological island and it develops different agricultural and cattle activities. It is the wild area that receives greater amount of national and international tourism. In his humid tropical forest they inhabit species of flora and fauna in extinction danger. One of its main attractions is the End Cathedral that in the past was an island and due to the sediment accumulation, was united to the continental mass, forming a sandy strip called Tómbolo. | Facilities and Services |
